Work Permit Extension
It is crucial to be aware that the aforementioned work permits cannot be extended unless one of the following situations applies:
The applicant made a request for permanent residency and is awaiting a judgement on whether or not they would be able to renew their work permit. An application for a Bridging Open Work Permit is what this is.
The applicant received a second employment offer, and the employer took all necessary actions so that the applicant could submit an application for a work visa.
Because the applicant's passport is about to expire, Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) was unable to grant a work permit for the entire time. The work permit may be extended after the applicant gets a new passport.
