    Non-Express Entry process

  • If selected, you submit an online application for permanent residency.
  • Processing times for applications differ from those of Fast Entry.
    Express Entry process

  • You should get in touch with a province or territory directly if they send you a "notice of interest" for your account.

Paper-Based Process:​

  • Application is in the province or territory for nomination which is not an Express Entry stream
  • Meeting the eligibility of the province or territory that nominates you is a must
  • The application process will take some time and are longer as compared to the Express Entry
